CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
"To say I am thrilled with Wael's workmanship is an understatement. Wael did an amazing job in refinishing my chair. He paid special attention in matching the pattern in the fabric and did an extremely neat and detailed job in finishing the piping trim. He even added some extra stuffing where needed.
Wael is very knowledgeable in his trade. He was able to tell me how much material I needed simply by knowing the measurements of the chair, even though he had not seen it.
Additionally, Wael completed this job in only a matter of days. I would definitely use Wael's services in the future and I would not hesitant to recommend him to others.
Thanks again!"

"Wael did a wonderful job on my upholstered chair! His work is first class!

We especially love how he made the protectors for the arms and head. They never fall off! And the extra pillow he made is perfect for back support!"

"I would like to thank those club members who replied to my request for advice on car seat upholsterers. I checked out a couple of the most popular but eventually settled for “Wael’s Upholstery”, based on the experience of a very satisfied club member.
Wael Aun, the owner, is a recent Syrian Immigrant; a very experienced master craftsman upholsterer now working hard to establish a business in Canada so he was a worthy choice. (Co-incidentally this Monday’s Ottawa Citizen featured a front page an article on him and his family.)
I had him install the Moss leather seat kits that I had bought for my ’66 MGB. He did an excellent job, especially given that the Moss kits are not the most expensive on the market. His price was very competitive and the workmanship and attention to detail was better than other samples I had seen.

Many thanks,"

"Wael made slipcovers for two much-loved 10-year-old Ikea armchairs. The company had retired this particular chair design and we were unable to find slipcover replacements in the company's inventory.
Wael replicated the pattern and made improvements in the fastenings. He offered us design options (which we chose not to exercise), but appreciated his creativity and recommendations.
He also went the extra step of looking for suitable fabrics on our behalf during a shopping run to Montreal. He delivered our covers ahead of schedule and on budget. The best advertisement for a new business is word-of-mouth, and I have been talking about Wael a lot."

"I LOVE the second life Wael gave to my chair. A 20+ year old favorite of mine looks brand new, including the legs! He was polite, helpful and it was clear how happy he was to be the cause behind my joy. I wish Wael success in his enterprise and a warm welcome to Canada!"

"This note confirms our complete satisfaction with the upholstery workmanship conducted by Wael Aun on our 2 contemporary style leather recliner chairs & footstools.

The contemporary leather recliner chairs & footstools were over 30 years old and still in very good working order, but all the leather [seats, backs & armrests] and the muslin cloth slings and the stuffing needed to be replaced. Leather was far too costly to use as a replacement material, so we selected and sourced new upholstery fabric.

The new upholstery fabrics were installed, with new stuffing and new zippers & hardware, to match the look of the former leather chairs.

Both chairs and both footstools look superb. Workmanship is very, very satisfactory!"

"Last year frustrated at not being able to find someone to repair a ripped seat bottom on my MGB.
I finally met Wael. after showing him the problem he immediately came up with a solution and was able to repair the seat for me. Not only did he do it with a smile, but had it finished the next day.
I highly recommend Waels work he is a true skilled craftsman and very easy to get along with."

"I can’t say enough about Wael’s workmanship. Extremely happy with the way my sofa turned out. Wael went as far as replacing the padding in the arms of the couch once he realized how bad they were."
